College basketball’s top 10 freshmen so far in 2023-24 season
8. Baye Ndongo, F, Georgia Tech
Ndongo has cemented himself in the Yellow Jackets’ starting lineup and put up some big games in the last month, scoring in double digits in seven straight games while pulling down 10.7 boards in that stretch. The 6-9 forward’s 9.2 rebounds per game ranks first in the country among all Division-I freshmen. Georgia Tech will likely finish near the bottom of the ACC standings but Ndongo is a potential building block if he isn’t considered a top NBA prospect by season’s end.
Baye Ndongo has been unreal in the 1st half today against BC. Here he is extending his range and hitting a 3.
One of the most productive freshman in CBB.
