Rashad Amos enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for RB
3. North Carolina
North Carolina had another strong season under Mack Brown in 2023. A big reason for that was its passing offense led by talented quarterback Drake Maye, but the Tar Heels’ rushing attack was also solid, ranking No. 17 in the country with 197 rushing yards per game. A breakout season from Omarion Hampton sparked the Tar Heels’ rushing offense as he had 1,442 yards and 15 touchdowns. Hampton will almost certainly enter 2024 as UNC’s lead back, but the team has almost no depth behind him currently with British Brooks graduating and Elijah Green and George Pettaway entering the transfer portal. and he could form a lethal one-two punch with Hampton in Chapel Hill.
