Rashad Amos enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for RB
4. Georgia
Going from Miami (Ohio) to Georgia would be a big leap for Amos, but it’s a move that could be possible. First and foremost, Amos would be returning home as he grew up in Tyrone – just a two–hour drive from Athens – and starred at Sandy Creek High School. However, perhaps the biggest draw that could lead Amos to Georgia is the Bulldogs’ coaching staff which includes Will Muschamp, who was Amos’ head coach during the early part of his college career at South Carolina, and Mike Bobo, who was South Carolina’s offensive coordinator in 2020 and currently holds the same role at Georgia. It remains to be seen if senior running backs Daijun Edwards and Kendall Milton will return next season, but regardless, Amos would provide the Bulldogs with experienced depth in the backfield.
