EJ Warner enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for QB

If EJ wants to move back to his home state, the Sun Devils would provide him the best opportunity to do so. Arizona State started three different quarterbacks this season between Trenton Bourguet, Drew Pyne and Jaden Rashada with middling results While true freshman Rashada is considered the future of the program, having been named the starter at the beginning of the year, but struggled in all three of his starts. The Sun Devils also recently parted ways with offensive coordinator Beau Baldwin, opening the door for a fresh start.
EJ would provide Arizona State with an experienced starter with high upside who still possesses two years of eligibility. The quarterback could not only help usher in a new offensive coordinator but could help mentor Rashada as he learns the system and works his way back to becoming the quarterback of the future. With the allure of returning to his home state and being the clear frontrunner in the quarterback room, EJ may be interested in helping the Sun Devils right the ship.
