Horned Frogs head coach Sonny Dykes had a very close relationship to Leach as he served as both wide receivers coach and later co-offensive coordinator under the legendary head coach聽 from 2000 through 2006. His offenses have reflected that philosophy as TCU ranks ninth in passing offense this season. However, things have not gone the Horned Frogs鈥� way this year as TCU finished with a 5-7 record.
One big issue was the quarterback spot as the Horned Frogs split playing time between redshirt freshman Josh Hoover and sophomore Chandler Morris. As the old adage goes, 鈥淚f you have two quarterbacks, you don鈥檛 have one good one鈥� and that could be said with TCU. If Dykes and the Horned Frogs can convince Rogers to join the program, they could once again be in national championship contention after losing in the national title game just last season.
