While it may seem far-fetched on paper, when looking more closely at the Trojans program, this scenario wouldn鈥檛 be so outlandish. Both USC head coach Lincoln Riley and senior offensive analyst Kliff Kingsbury are Leach disciples and run an Air Raid offensive scheme with the Trojans. Starting quarterback Caleb Williams is expected to declare for the NFL draft following the season, leaving a massive, Heisman-sized hole in the roster.
Enter Rogers. Riley has had success turning transfer quarterbacks into stars before just look at Williams, Jalen Hurts, Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray as examples. Rogers would not only bring experience to USC, but could help be a bridge for the Trojans offense as Riley works to find his next Heisman level signal caller.
