Will Rogers enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for QB

Wisconsin implemented the Air Raid offense for the first time this season with mixed results as the team ranks No. 79 in total offense and No. 81 in passing offense. While the team was led for most games by quarterback Tanner Mordecai, he has exhausted eligibility and won鈥檛 be back next season. His backup, Braedyn Locke, actually served as Rogers鈥� backup in 2022 before transferring to the Badgers last offseason.
Though Locke did well in replacement of Mordecai when the redshirt senior was injured, Wisconsin鈥檚 2023 season has been viewed mostly as a disappointment after it started the season ranked in the Top 25. If Badgers head coach Luke Fickell can woo Rogers from Mississippi State, it would not only give Wisconsin a more experienced starter for next season, but could also be the piece the team鈥檚 new Air Raid offense is looking for.
