Top 10 Illinois boys basketball players in Class of 2024
4. Chris Riddle, F, Kenwood Academy
Riddle is an athletic player who has as much talent as nearly anybody on this list, and he continues to rise as one of the best in Illinois’ senior class. Riddle began his high school career playing at Kenwood Academy where he became one of the top players in the state. He then transferred to play at Compass Prep in Arizona as a sophomore before returning to Illinois for his junior year, a season which was impacted by injuries. However, this summer, Riddle continued to show what he is capable of as he averaged nearly 15 points, 6.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists playing with Mac Irvin Fire. In late October, the 6-foot-5 forward committed to DePaul, and will join the Blue Demons following what is poised to be a strong senior season with the Broncos.
