Top 10 Illinois boys basketball players in Class of 2024
6. Angelo Ciaravino, F, Mount Carmel
There are a few guys on this list who have had quite the ascension within the last year or so, and Ciaravino is certainly one of them. The 6-foot-6 forward is a terrific competitor who can impact the game in multiple ways, and proved that as just a sophomore at Mount Carmel, a season in which he averaged nearly 12 points. As a junior, Ciaravino took a big step forward, averaging 16 points, six rebounds and three assists while helping the Caravan to a sectional title appearance as the team went 27-7. Following a strong summer performance as well with the Illinois Wolves, Ciaravino has committed to stay home and play at Northwestern as one of the top recruits thus far in the Wildcats’ 2024 class.
Angelo Ciaravino has gotten 14 new offers since June with his 1st HM offer coming yesterday from Northwestern. He was extremely active at the UAA Finals, passed it well, and finished with authority. Makes full use of his athletic tools. Could keep ascending in Vegas this weekend.
