7. Jack Stanton, G, Downers Grove North
There are a lot of big men featured towards the top of this list, but Stanton checks in as one of the best guards in Illinois鈥� Class of 2024. Stanton鈥檚 greatest asset is his elite shooting ability, as last year he made over 100 3-point shots for Downers Grove North while shooting over 40% from deep. It resulted in averaging around 16 points for a Trojans squad that reached the state tournament for the first time in program history. The 6-foot-2 guard shows a high basketball IQ on the court that should translate to success at the next level. Following a senior season in which Stanton will hope to take Downers Grove North one step further come March, the talented senior will head to the Ivy League to play for Princeton, a program which just made a Sweet 16 run in the NCAA Tournament last year.
