Shohei Ohtani officially a free agent; Top 5 landing spots
3. San Francisco Giants
The Giants have been unfortunate in recent offseasons as they offered big contracts to Aaron Judge and Carlos Correa only for those two stars to end up elsewhere. San Francisco is clearly willing to spend, but they just haven鈥檛 gotten the player to match yet. Ohtani could change that, however. Not only would Ohtani get to stay in Southern California where he has grown accustomed and has established a fan base, but he would join a Giants team that has only one player under contract after 2025 so he could have some pull in making a roster in his own image. With plenty of flexibility and ownership that appears willing to spend for stars, Ohtani could be swayed to make a move to the Bay.
