Ranking the top 10 SEC players entering 2023-24 season
3. Santiago Vescovi, G, Tennessee
Vescovi has been one of the most reliable guards in the SEC for a few years now and should continue his success in his fifth year in Knoxville. Tennessee has a roster full of talent once again this season and is considered the favorite to win the SEC. To do that, they鈥檒l need another big season from Vescovi. Last year, the 6-foot-3 guard averaged 12.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.8 steals as a threat on both ends of the floor. Vescovi鈥檚 greatest asset is his shooting ability, as he has shot 38% from 3-point range in his Vols career, including 39.6% from deep last season. Along with a talented supporting cast, Vescovi has the chance to be the leader of a Final Four-caliber squad this season.
