Outside of the Brewers, you鈥檇 be hard pressed to find another team that knows just what Counsell has brought to his teams more than one of the Brewers鈥� division rivals. The Cardinals massively disappointed in 202, with expectations that had them at least making the playoffs. With an inability to even do that, the Cardinals could look to go in a new direction, and away from manager Oli Marmol. Landing Counsell would certainly hurt Milwaukee if the Cardinals were somehow able to sway the Brewers鈥� manager away.
