The Angels once again find themselves in between on whether to rebuild or spend to make another run at the playoffs. After going all in at the MLB trade deadline, the team is set to miss the postseason for the ninth consecutive season. Manager Phil Nevin has been unable to get things back on track after taking over for Joe Maddon during last season and could find himself as the newest dismissal. Counsell will probably have better options than the Angels but managing Mike Trout and luring Shohei Ohtani back could be somewhat appealing.
