The Yankees鈥� 2023 campaign will be labeled as a disaster when all things are said and done after missing out on the playoffs for the first time since 2016. While Aaron Boone has done a solid job with the club throughout his six seasons with the team, the Yankees have been unable to cash in on some of the premier opportunities, missing a chance at a World Series appearance for what will be the 14th season. Boone鈥檚 inability to get this year鈥檚 roster to work could come back to haunt him as the Yankees could look to change directions with the coaching staff. Counsell would quickly go from a team that spends in the bottom half of the league to a team that consistently spends in the top 10.
