4. Anthony Speca, Sr., Central Catholic
Although Speca was primarily an offensive player to begin his high school career, he has emerged as one of the best defenders Pennsylvania has to offer in recent years. Speca has a true nose for finding the football, making 70 tackles as a sophomore in 2021 before amassing an impressive 122 tackles last fall. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker also added 16 tackles for loss, six sacks, three forced fumbles and an interception last season for a Central Catholic squad that went 7-5. The Vikings seem poised for another strong campaign in 2023 with Speca leading their defense before the four-star linebacker heads off to Penn State.
