Every Big Ten football program鈥檚 best season of all time

Purdue: 1966
Bob Griese led the Boilermakers in 1966 and helped them to a 9-2 record while finishing second in Heisman Trophy voting behind Steve Spurrier. Purdue鈥檚 only losses came at the hands of the eventual national champions, Notre Dame, and No. 2-ranked Michigan State, but Griese and Purdue made the trip to the Rose Bowl where they defeated USC 14-13 and finished the season as the No. 7-ranked team in the nation.聽
