The Scarlet Knights jumped out to a 9-0 start in Greg Schiano鈥檚 fourth year as head coach and were ranked No. 7 in the AP poll after handing No. 3 Louisville a loss. They would only last a week in the top 10 after losing to Cincinnati and Rutgers recorded one more loss before landing in the Texas Bowl, defeating Kansas State for the program鈥檚 first bowl win and finishing 11-2.
