Top 10 Pennsylvania HS football players in Class of 2024
4. Rico Scott, WR, Bishop McDevitt
Scott is a talented speedster on the gridiron for Bishop McDevitt and was a big reason why the Crusaders won a PIAA Class 4A state title last season. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound wideout put up some tremendous numbers in 2022, including 66 catches, 1,184 yards and 18 touchdowns, averaging nearly 18 yards per catch. Scott has also proved dangerous as a kick and punt returner for Bishop McDevitt over the past few seasons. Following his breakout junior year, Scott began garnering even more high-level college interest, and last April he officially committed to play in the SEC for Alabama. He has the kind of talent to become one of the Crimson Tide’s next stars at the receiver position, and will look to continue to prove why in his senior season at Bishop McDevitt.
