6. Zach Sims, Sr., Thompson
Despite missing the back half of the season due to injury, Sims still showed he is among the best quarterbacks Alabama has to offer. On the year, Sims threw for 1,221 yards, six touchdowns and six interceptions while rushing for 189 yards and three more scores over 10 games.
The 6-foot-2, 185-pound signal caller is considered one of the top senior quarterbacks in Alabama by recruits as he was given a three-star rating, good for the No. 61 spot in the state. Sims holds numerous offers including from Columbia, Pittsburgh and Louisville. After an injury ended his season early a year ago, Sims will look to come back and help Thompson defend their state title this fall.
