Alabama鈥檚 top quarterback in the Class of 2025, Lacey more than proved his worthiness of that spot last season. As only a sophomore, Lacey threw for 3,177 yards, 40 touchdowns and just five interceptions while rushing for four additional scores. This performance earned the sophomore Class 6A first-team all-state honors.
Given his prototypical size at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds and his stellar play last season, Lacey unsurprisingly gained a lot of attention from collegiate programs, being ranked as a unanimous four-star prospect and earning 29 offers. However, Lacey already has his college in mind before even taking a snap his junior year as he to Texas on June 3.
