3. Jake Purichia, Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter (2010-13)
The runner-up for the 2013 Mr. Football award, Purichia finished his career at Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter as the Hoosier State鈥檚 career passing touchdowns leader (142), and second at the time in yards (11,146). As a senior, Purichia led the Raiders to a IHSAA Class 2A state championship behind his 3,715 yards and 46 passing touchdowns.
Following his time at Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter, Purichia went on to play at the University of Indianapolis. After a redshirt season, limited action as a freshman and an injury as a sophomore, Purichia finally broke out in 2017 as he was named Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Year, and a candidate for the Harlan Hill Award, given to the top Division II college football player annually. He concluded his college career with another strong season for the Greyhounds in 2018.聽
