4. Earl Haniford, Martinsville (1992-95)
Haniford is a quarterback who is well remembered in central Indiana, as he was a true star at Martinsville High School, leading the Hoosier State in passing all four years he suited up for the Artesians. It resulted in 11,110 career passing yards, as well as 111 touchdowns as he completed 63% of his passes. Haniford was named Indiana鈥檚 Mr. Football in his senior year in 1995.
After putting his name atop the Martinsville record books in multiple categories, Haniford went on to play for the Indiana Hoosiers. While he played in nearly every game in 1997, the gunslinger eventually lost his job to future NFL wideout Antwaan Randle El, but remained in Bloomington to finish out his college career with his home-state squad.
