3. Max Browne, Skyline (2009-12)
Browne followed in the footsteps of Heaps at Skyline, and was somehow even more impressive. During the course of his high school career, Browne threw for 12,953 yards which included a couple of 4,000-yard passing seasons in 2010 and 2012. The Skyline signal-caller also threw for 142 career touchdowns and completed 882 passes during his high school career.
Browne was a , leading him to USC. However, he had trouble beating out the likes of Cody Kessler and Sam Darnold while with the Trojans, and eventually transferred to Pitt. Browne saw more game action with the Panthers, but a shoulder injury would end his college career early. After a tryout with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Browne found a new role in the sport as an analyst for USC radio broadcasts, and currently serves as an analyst for the Pac-12 Network.聽
