2. Nate Archibald, Arizona Western Community College
Despite talent, Archibald didn鈥檛 focus enough on his education in high school to join a major program out of high school so he instead enrolled at Arizona Western Community College. After one season at Arizona Western, Archibald transferred to UTEP where he starred for three seasons.
Archibald was selected by the Rochester Royals No. 19 overall in the second round of the 1970 NBA Draft. 鈥淭iny鈥 went out to play 13 years in the NBA where he was named an All-Star six times, All-NBA five times, won the 1981 title with the Celtics and was named to the NBA 75th Anniversary team. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1991.
