Georgetown has been abysmal recently but new head coach Ed Couley has the potential to turn the program around quickly. The Hoyas have lost a lot of players to the portal because of the poor season and the hiring of Cooley but the team can replenish the roster through the portal. Look at what Kansas State did in Jerome Tang;s first year and Cooley could do something similar. Samuel could replace forward Bryson Malzone who has no more eligibility. He could also be an effective scorer and defender while giving Cooley a veteran to help the Hoyas stay focused during what looks to be a tough first year. Samuel is familiar with the Big East and could make a name for himself if he鈥檚 able to help Cooley turn the program around.聽
