Sahvir Wheeler enters transfer portal; 5 possible landing spots
Oklahoma State
Last time Wheeler was in the transfer portal, one of the final teams he was considering was Oklahoma State, so it鈥檚 likely there could be mutual interest between him and the Cowboys again this time around. Of course, at that time, Mike Boyton鈥檚 guys were coming off a 21-9 season with Cade Cunningham leading the charge, and have since watched the NCAA Tournament from home the past two seasons. Still, Wheeler could be intrigued at the chance to play for the Pokes, particularly as they got close to a tournament bid this season. Like some of the other teams on this list, Oklahoma State has a couple of solid senior guards in Avery Anderson III and John-Michael Wright that could be returning, but if either leaves, Wheeler could certainly help fill the void. Even if both were to stay, adding Wheeler could be worthwhile as Boyton likes to play a deep rotation. It also doesn鈥檛 hurt to stockpile as much talent as possible in a tough Big 12 Conference.
