Top 10 New York HS baseball players in Class of 2023
6. Jason DeCaro, RHP, St. Anthony’s
DeCaro made headway on the mound as a sophomore after receiving some early experience for the Friars back in 2021. After pitching to a 4.64 ERA in just over 25 innings, the St. Anthony鈥檚 ace would take things up a notch as a junior. With 46 strikeouts in 39.1 innings pitched, DeCaro delivered a much improved 3.03 ERA and 3-3 record during the 2022 campaign. The year would be the perfect opportunity for the 6-foot-4, 205–pound right hander to show off his progress as the Friars enjoyed a 17-9 record. With a chance to build off the previous seasons, the North Carolina commit should be one of the top names to look out for at St. Anthony鈥檚.聽
