Top 10 New York HS baseball players in Class of 2023
7. JT Caruso, LHP, Mount Sinai
The Mount Sinai senior showed he could be one of the top two-way players in the state as a junior, racking up a .466 batting average at the plate to go along with 18 RBIs and five doubles. When it came to his time on the mound, the 6-foot-4 lefty dominated opposing lineups with a 3.60 ERA and 33 strikeouts in 23.1 innings. With a 4-1 record on the bump, Caruso proved to be an integral part of the Mustangs 16-6 campaign. With a chance to build on those numbers, the Miami commit will be looking to bring his team even further into the playoffs in 2023.
