Top 10 New York HS baseball players in Class of 2023
8. Dominick Carbone, OF, Rocky Point
The Rocky Point outfielder came into the 2022 season already building an impressive resume. With a .463 batting average, nine doubles and three homers, Carbone proved he could not only do damage at the plate, but also on the mound. His 4-1 record with a 2.60 ERA and 41 strikeouts helped him to All-Long Island selection as a sophomore, only adding to the list of accomplishments for the outfielder/pitcher. With the help of Carbone, the Eagles enjoyed a stellar past season before coming up just shy of a state title with a 23-3 record and Class A Regionals appearance. The 6-foot, 170–pound senior will have the chance to take Rocky Point a few games further this year before heading off to play at Coastal Carolina.
Dominick Carbone (Rocky Point 2023) went 4-for-5 with a HR, 2 doubles and 6 SBs at Wake Forest scout day. He was conference MVP as a sophomore. High follow
