Top 10 Ohio high school baseball players in Class of 2023
7. Lucas Moore, OF, Badin
Badin High School made a run all the way to the OHSAA state semifinals last year, and a big reason why was not only Copenhaver, but also the standout play of the Rams’ star outfielder in Moore. As a junior, Moore racked up 32 hits, 20 RBIs, 39 runs and 27 stolen bases while batting .352. The impressive season added to some gaudy career stats for Moore thus far at Badin as he sports a career batting average of .411 to go along with 86 hits, 87 runs and 78 stolen bases. Impressing throughout the summer and fall with the likes of the Indiana Bulls and Alpha Baseball, the 6-foot-1, 170-pound speedster will take his talents to Louisville following his Badin career.
