SEC鈥檚 top 10 basketball players with month left in season
9. Wade Taylor IV, G, Texas A&M
Taylor was solid as a freshman for Texas A&M last season, but he has made a big leap in his sophomore year that has coincided with the Aggies quietly going 9-2 thus far in conference play 鈥� the second-best record in the SEC. On the year, Taylor IV is averaging just shy of 15 points, as well as around three rebounds, four assists and two steals.
While there have been games where he could be a little more efficient with his shooting, he is able to score the ball from anywhere on the court, and one of his best performances came in one of the Aggies鈥� most recent contests against Auburn, where Taylor IV scored 22 points and dished out seven assists to propel Texas A&M to an 83-78 victory. After Buzz Williams鈥� guys got snubbed from the NCAA Tournament last year, Taylor IV, along with some other key contributors in veteran leaders Tyrece Radford and Henry Coleman III, are making sure they don鈥檛 suffer the same fate this season.
