SEC鈥檚 top 10 basketball players with month left in season
3. Colin Castleton, F, Florida
Like several guys on this list, Castleton was one of the top returning players in the SEC coming into the year, and he has lived up to the billing for Florida once again in his third season in Gainesville. Castleton began his season with a bang, putting up point totals of 33, 30 and 25 in three of his first four games. While his scoring hasn鈥檛 quite been the same in SEC play, he has put up three consecutive 20-point performances recently against Tennessee, Kentucky and Alabama.
On the year, the 6-foot-11 center averages 16.1 points while grabbing 7.8 rebounds, and has had just two games in which he hasn鈥檛 recorded five rebounds or more. Consistency is the name of the game for the Gators鈥� big man, and he shows it on the defensive end as well, averaging three blocks. At 13-11, Florida has fading tournament hopes with a month left in the season, but the Gators know what they are going to get from their senior leader, and he will make a big impact for them once again down the stretch.
