SEC鈥檚 top 10 basketball players with month left in season
2. Brandon Miller, F, Alabama
Miller has been the best player for one of the top teams in the country, and has also been the best freshman in all of college basketball. The 6-foot-8 forward is in the top 50 in the country in scoring with 19 points per game, and also averages 8.3 rebounds and two assists while shooting 45% from the field, and an impressive 44% from 3-point range.
The Gatorade Player of the Year and Mr. Basketball winner in Tennessee last year has transitioned well to Tuscaloosa with nine 20-plus point games, and three 30-point games, two of which came back-to-back during SEC play in mid-January. Alabama is undefeated in SEC play thus far and is 21-3 overall as the No. 3 team in the country. The Crimson Tide will be a threat come tournament time, and Miller has the capability to lead Nate Oates鈥� squad on a Final Four run.
