Ranking the top 10 Washington Capitals players of all time
4. Peter Bondra, RW (1990-2004)
The long-time Capitals winger was arguably the top goal-scorer in franchise history before Ovechkin staked his claim to the title midway through his Washington career. With nearly 500 goals in his time with the Capitals, Bondra ended his career as the team鈥檚 career leader in goals and points. Those records have since been passed but Bondra鈥檚 elite offensive ability helped Washington to 10 playoff appearances in his 14 seasons and a near Stanley Cup win in 1998. Up until their cup win in 2018, Bondra鈥檚 1997-98 was the lone Stanley Cup appearance in franchise history.
