9. Kevin Hatcher, D (1984-1994)
It will be hard for any future Capitals鈥� player to match Hatcher鈥檚 success with the team after making the playoffs in all 10 of his seasons in Washington. The former Capitals鈥� defenseman impressed throughout his time with the team, but none more so than in 1992-93 when Hatcher racked up 34 goals and 45 assists. With his two-way ability, Hatcher remains one of the top defensemen to do it for the organization and one of the most successful.
