Brian Westbrook, Vernon Davis among Washington D.C. NFL stars
- Jamal Williams, DT, Archbishop Carroll
Named a Super Prep All-American in 1994, Williams stood out at the LB position for Archbishop Carroll. It led him to suit up for the Oklahoma State Cowboys. Williams would transfer to the JUCO level after one season and then end up back at OSU. In his second stint with the Cowboys, he finished his career with 177 tackles and 9.5 sacks. He also earned first-team All-Big 12 in his final season. Williams couldn’t enter the standard NFL draft because his eligibility status changed. So in the 1998 Supplement Draft, the Chargers drafted him in the second round. Williams would play in San Diego for over a decade. From 2004-07, Williams would take home three All-Pro recognitions (two first-team All-Pro, one second-team All-Pro) and three Pro Bowl nods. Williams retired in 2010 and finished with 443 total tackles, 13 sacks and one interception over 12 seasons.
