Brian Westbrook, Vernon Davis among Washington D.C. NFL stars
- Kevin Glover, C, Largo
To some, Glover may be an overlooked star. Glover attended Maryland, and in 1984 he was a first-team All-American. He entered the 1985 NFL Draft, where the Detroit Lions selected him. Now, offensive linemen don’t have the stats to back up their career as some other positions do, but one thing they do rely on is their longevity. In Glover鈥檚 case, he鈥檇 go on to play for 13 years. He鈥檇 also block for arguably the best running back in NFL history, Barry Sanders. Glover鈥檚 career ended in 1999, but what was incredible about his career is that he was able to start 92% of games. He finished with three Pro Bowls and one second-team All-Pro in 1995 and first-team All-Pro in 1994, 1996 and 1997.聽
