An offensive lineman takes the top spot on the list and out of everybody on the list, Ogden was the most accomplished in his professional career. Ogden was a football and track and field star at St. Albans. Being a great athlete, Odgen attracted a lot of attention from colleges. He decided to attend UCLA, where he could play football and聽participate in track and field. At UCLA, Ogden would have a great career on and off the gridiron. As a sophomore, he helped UCLA reach the 1993 Rose Bowl. Also, in 1996, he won the NCAA Men鈥檚 Division Indoor Track and Field Championships in the shot put, throwing 19.42 meters. In his final season with the Bruins, he started 23 games allowing only two sacks. He received the Outland and Morris trophies and was voted the United Press International (UPI) LIneman of the Year. He was also voted a unanimous All-American in 1995. Ogden entered the 1996 NFL Draft, where the Baltimore Ravens used the No. 4 overall pick on him. It was a smart pick as Ogden went on to have a Hall of Fame career. He went on to be a nine-time All-Pro (four first-team, five second-team),聽 an eleven-time Pro Bowler and was a Super Bowl Champion. Ogden also started in 176 of 177 games and was enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2013. He was a part of the NFL鈥檚 2000s All-Decade Team, the聽 100th Anniversary All-Time Team and he鈥檚 the best player from D.C.聽
