Another Dunbar star, Davis, was touted as one of the best TE prospects in the. Being a top recruit in the nation helped Davis land at Maryland. With the Terps, Davis would have a memorable career. He finished with 83 career receptions for 1,371 yards and nine touchdowns. During his junior season of 2005, he was a consensus All-American and a finalist for the Mackey Award, which is given to the nation’s best TE. Davis would end up being drafted with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft and head to San Francisco. For nearly nine seasons, Davis suited up for the 49ers, and there were some for him. Davis鈥� career ultimately ended in Washington but wasn鈥檛 before he earned a Super Bowl ring with Denver in 2016. Davis finished with 7,562 receiving yards and 63 touchdowns and was a second-team All-Pro in 2013.聽
