Brian Westbrook, Vernon Davis among Washington D.C. NFL stars

In his final two seasons at DeMatha, Westbrook earned honorable all-state recognition. He also lettered in basketball, and being a great athlete; he continued his football career at Villanova. With the Wildcats, Westbrook set an NCAA record for all-purpose yards with 9,512, a record that still stands today. With a at Villanova, Westbrook aimed to continue his career in the NFL. He accomplished that goal in 2002 as the Philadelphia Eagles selected him with the No. 91 overall pick. Westbrook played for the Eagles immediately with 163 total rushes in his first two seasons. Westbrook鈥檚 playing days would end in 2010, but he left the game as a first-team All-Pro, a two-time Pro Bowler and he鈥檚 in the Eagles Hall of Fame.聽
