8. Dewey Bohling, RB, Highland
A Hornet long before Baxter鈥檚 time, Bohling also played well in the backfield during his time at Highland and is a member of the . After his prep career, Bohling joined the football program at Hardin-Simmons University where he amassed 2,484 all-purpose yards, ranking seventh all-time at HSU in the Division I era. The back was drafted in the 13th round, No. 151 overall, by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 1959 NFL Draft. He played three NFL seasons, two for the then-New York Titans and one for the Buffalo Bills from 1959-1961, playing in 26 games with 13 starts, registering 584 rushing yards, 485 receiving yards and nine total touchdowns.
