Top 10 Minnesota HS football players in Class of 2023
2. Carson Hansen, RB – Lakeville South
Lakeville South High School was considered by many to have the best football team in the state last year. The Cougars went undefeated and won the first state title in program history following an undefeated 2020 campaign that didn鈥檛 have a state tournament due to Covid. Carson Hansen played a pivotal role in both seasons for Lakeville South. The Iowa State commit and First-Team All-State running back rushed for 2,012 yards and had 27 total touchdowns. He was fourth in the state in rushing yards last season, and rushed for over 200 yards six times. Hansen鈥檚 best outing came against Prior Lake when the 6-foot-1, 190-pound running back rushed for 260 yards and three touchdowns. If Lakeville South wants to repeat as champions and keep its winning streak going, Hansen will have to have another great season.聽聽聽
