6. Bob Lemon, RHP (1946-58)
Lemon remains one of the best pitchers the franchise has seen and has been honored as such with his No. 21 retired by Cleveland in 1998. Lemon was also inducted into the franchise鈥檚 Hall of Fame in 1960, and the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1976. The talented righthander won World Series titles both as a player and as a manager during his MLB career, and was part of Cleveland鈥檚 championship team in 1948. Lemon spent all 13 years of his pro tenure with Cleveland, earning seven consecutive All-Star nods from 1948-54. He led the big leagues with 23 wins twice during that stretch, and led the American League multiple times in complete games. Lemon鈥檚 3.23 ERA ranks in the top 15 in the franchise record books, while his 1,277 strikeouts rank fifth, and his 207 wins rank third.
