9. Xavier Carrera, RHP, Boone Grove
Carrera is in line for an exciting finish to his high school career this spring where he will play alongside twin brother and fellow Class of 2025 standout, Davian Carrera. Xavier and Davian also plan to play together at Indiana after their time at Boone Grove. Xavier possesses a lot of potential as a solid two-way player who hit .403 with four home runs last season. He was also a leader for the Wolves鈥� pitching staff and continued to showcase his arm talent throughout the past several months with the Chicago Cubs Scout Team, and most recently at the Super 60 Showcase. The 6-foot-3, 205-pound righthander鈥檚 low-90s fastball and solid mix of off-speed pitches give him significant upside.
