Top 10 Indiana high school baseball players in Class of 2025
2. Matthew Fisher, RHP, Evansville Memorial
Fisher has shown off his arm in two sports during his time at Evansville Memorial as the starting quarterback of the Tigers鈥 football team and as a pitcher on the diamond. Fisher has proven to be a star in both sports, but his future is in baseball as he plans to stay in-state for college with the Indiana Hoosiers. First, the 6-foot-3, 200-pound senior will look to lead Evansville Memorial on another deep postseason run after the Tigers reached the semistate championship last spring. After a sophomore season where Fisher had a 1.51 ERA and 91 strikeouts across 60 鈪 innings, he returned to his dominant form last spring following an elbow injury suffered during his junior football season, and has a career 1.95 ERA. Fisher should have a strong finish to an impressive career at Evansville Memorial, and could become an early-round MLB draft pick this summer.
