Top 10 Indiana high school baseball players in Class of 2025
1. Caden Crowell, LHP, Valparaiso
Crowell is a talented all-around athlete who is also an all-conference basketball player at Valparaiso High School. However, Crowell鈥檚 future resides in baseball where he plans to play collegiately at Notre Dame, potentially joining forces with multiple other senior stars across the Hoosier State, including outfielder Brandon Logan. The 6-foot-4, 200-pound lefthander has a nice mix of pitches on the mound, highlighted by a strong fastball that can touch the low 90s. That鈥檚 been on display at Valparaiso, particularly last season where he struck out 54 batters and allowed just one earned run across 28 innings of work. Crowell is also capable at the plate, batting .449 last year. The talented senior should have the Vikings in line for another successful season after they won 20 games in 2024.
