Top 10 freshman NCAA softball players of the 2025 season
9. Alexis DeBoer, IF, Washington
DeBoer鈥檚 name might sound familiar as she is the daughter of Alabama football head coach Kalen DeBoer. Alexis has made her own name known early in the 2025 college softball season, and actually hit a home run when the Huskies matched up with the Crimson Tide earlier this year. The long ball was one of many thus far for the talented freshman who is second in the country with 12 home runs on the season. Alexis鈥� 33 RBIs and 71 total bases also rank in the top 20 in the nation, while she hits .372 with a .910 slugging percentage and a 1.350 OPS. The Huskies have won 14 games in a row thanks to the skilled freshman from South Dakota, and she should help keep Washington competitive in the Big Ten alongside a talented pitching staff in Seattle.
