Top 10 Washington high school baseball players in Class of 2025
7. Trace Pruitt, RHP, Olympia
Pruitt continues to impress each time he takes the mound and should finish his prep career strong at Olympia this spring. Last season, Pruitt helped the Bears to a district championship and was named SPSL Pitcher of the Year, going 8-2 with a 1.15 ERA and 66 strikeouts across 60 innings of work. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound senior has also been solid at the plate for Olympia, but his future likely lies on the mound with good command of a fastball that touches the upper 80s and a nice mix of off-speed pitches. Pruitt should prove to be one of the Evergreen State’s top pitchers again this season and will soon join a host of the state’s top prospects at Washington after committing to the Huskies in 2023.
