Top 10 Pennsylvania high school baseball players in Class of 2025
3. Mason Ligenza, RHP/OF, Tamaqua Area
Ligenza’s 401-foot Super 60 max distance was the fourth-highest on that Prep Baseball leaderboard. Oregon signee Taitn Gray paced that list with a 433-foot blast.
Prep Baseball’s scouting report on Ligenza in February said he “is a bit of a unicorn as a 6-foot-6, L/L athlete who ran a 6.43 and recorded a 106.6 mph max (exit velocity) (95.2 average).”
That 6.43 60-yard dash time was also the fourth-best at the Super 60. Ligenza is a Pittsburgh commit.
I鈥檓 excited to announce my commitment to play at the University of Pittsburgh. I want to thank God, my family, coaches, and teammates for always pushing me to be the best version of myself.
